Sensory Friendly Colorado was originally established in 2022 via a Facebook group: Sensory Friendly Colorado. The intent was to keep Colorado families up to date with sensory friendly happenings across Colorado. The group quickly grew and we were able to see where the community was lacking with inclusive supports and activities. We decided to go a step further... establish a non-profit to help fill those gaps with community engagement, training and advocacy.
Our amazing team of regulars and part-time volunteers are committed to creating more sensory friendly opportunities in Colorado! As this is a community effort, we look forward to your sensory friendly suggestions as part of our team.
Our mission is to provide opportunities of sensory friendly inclusion in the community for those impacted with sensory processing disorders. We will achieve this through training/education and advocacy.
